Participating doctors, dentists, hospitals, and clinics in Tijuana and elsewhere in northern Baja—including Rosarito and Ensenada—can arrange Medical Fast Passes. Ask before your appointment because not every provider participates. The issuing provider creates the personalized pass for the patient or driver; it is not a general-public pass that should be purchased from a roadside seller.

• Getting the pass: Give the provider the patient or driver's name, license plate, and number of people in the vehicle. Confirm every detail before leaving. The pass is valid for one crossing within 48 hours of issue.
• Using it: Drive to the marked Cruce Ágil/FastLane booth, show the digital pass or QR code, and then enter the matching regular or Ready Lane queue for US inspection. It works at San Ysidro All Traffic, San Ysidro Ready Lane, and Otay All Traffic. Mexicali's MedLane is a separate program, so always confirm which crossing is printed on your pass.
• Fair price: For 2026, Tijuana's Cruce Ágil program charges registered medical providers MX$419.96 per pass—about US$23. The city describes it as a courtesy to the patient and prohibits resale, so it may be included with your care. If a clinic passes along the city cost, roughly MX$420 is a fair benchmark; avoid expensive third-party offers.

This is not SENTRI and does not grant entry to the United States. Every traveler still needs valid entry documents, and the pass cannot be used in the SENTRI lane.
